Birth Doula + Express childbirth education $1800

I highly encourage all of my families to attend a childbirth education series.  It is best if that is done through a local hospital program or other childbirth education program such as Bradley, Hypnobirthing, etc.  I am happy to help you find something that works for you.  Occasionally, a family is unable to attend one of those classes and special arrangements can be made for a private class.

"Ami was with us for both deliveries!- the two births could not have been more different.  With our first baby, I was induced 6 weeks early and had some complications; it was a long, hard labor, and very tough emotionally.  Ami was empathetic but tough enough to keep me strong to work through it.  With having a preemie, I was able to have Ami go with the baby to make sure everything was ok, and my husband stayed with me for comfort.  With our second baby, my water broke three weeks early and Ami got up in the middle of the night to meet us at the hospital.  It was a much easier delivery but still valued having Ami help me through the contractions and with focusing on breathing.

On top of having support during labor, Ami provided support before the delivery- I had so many questions prior to having our first.  It is so nice to feel safe asking anything and everything!  Ami knew what questions to ask so when the big time came, she knew exactly what I needed.  She also was able to guide my husband in supporting me the way I needed it.  She is so knowledgeable and has had so much experience!  After the babies were born, she checked in and helped with the huge change that comes with bringing a baby into the world and into your home.

Each birth experience you have only happens once.  You can't redo it- invest in your emotional, mental, and physical well being.  You will not regret it.  -Angela
